I`ve just changed from bt to sky broadband. I have internet but not e-mail.`Log in` does not accept my user name-lewis_baker@Sky.com

You need to contact your ISP.

I have recently changed my server from pipex to sky now i can get on to sky broadband but am unable to get access to my e-mail neither sky or microsoft are able to help they suggest to try...


Since you change your server you may need also to change mail server for your Pipex and the only way to make this work is to contact your Email provider and ask them for the new settings for your email so you can use it with your new broadband...

Hi there
When you signed up to Sky they should have given you an email address. Alternatively they may have just given you a Username or Sky ID, in which case your email address will be this Username or Sky ID followed by "@sky.com"

How can i get me sky emails connected to my i phone


Log into Sky webmail, click mail settings, forwarding and pop/imap
enable IMAP.

iPhone:
Configure your mail client:

1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Mail.
3. Tap Add Account.
4. Tap Other. (Note: Don't tap Sky Email; if you do, you'll set up POP rather than IMAP. We are aware of this issue and are currently working to make setting up Sky Email more intuitive for the iPhone).
5. Make sure that:
- The IMAP tab is highlighted
- Host Name is imap.tools.sky.com
- Username is your full Sky Email address, including '@sky.com'
- For Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), Host Name is smtp.tools.sky.com

6. Tap Save.

And you've finished. You can verify your Advanced settings by tapping Settings, then [your Sky Email IMAP Account] followed by Advanced.

Incoming Settings:
- Use SSL: ON
- Authentication: password
- Server Port: 993 for IMAP.

Outgoing Settings:
- Use SSL: ON
- Authentication: Password
- Server Port: 465

Belkin router is not compatible with sky broadband


Access the router's built-in web-interface,
and check that the ID/password that you configured into the router are the values that your Internet Service Provider (SKY) gave you.

Can't send Tesco email through Sky Broadband


Hi there, it appears that the settings in your tesco account are incorrect, they shoud be set up for the tesco server , please see

BT phone and broadband from sky...ok i cant make or receive phone calls.bt say that they checked the line and it shows no faults..ive tried different phones on line but no joy, interactive on sky box also...


Not a total solution, but a reason , perhaps.

I have both BroadBand and Telephone from BT.

In the past they always billed you with one bill. also if your phone was cut off due to lack off payment so the BB went off also.

they have now split their billing system - and services- into two separate identities, meaning that the phone could be cut off for calls yet your Broadband will still work and vice versa.

So, i would say the problem lies with BT , even though you have ordered your BB from Sky they still have to ask BT to setup your service at the exchange. It seems that they have not checked your service for both BB and phone.

I recently had my phone cut off (BT's 'direct debit 'accident'!) but my BB worked throughout the fortnight it took them to resolve where my paid bill money was!..

So. Call your main service provider (that would be Sky if you get no bills from BT) and tell them your phone service has most certainly NOT been activated.

I recently spent 17 hours over 3 days speaking to 23 customer assistants, before reaching a manager who resolved a similar issue for me at BT.

Under their new setup BB personel cannot see your phone account and phone personel cannot see your BB account - and we get charged over 1/3rd more for this mayhem . their reason explained to me as "having everything on one bill was confusing some customers so you now have two accounts and two bills for everything" !!

your socket is fine as you have enough connection for BB which takes more bandwidth than a voice line.

Basically you have some corporate customer service red tape to hack through.

Since changing from tesco to sky broadband i have been unable to e-mail my relatives in australia.the e-mail is not going through.getting notification of this on my computer do i now have to add au or...


If you use outlook, eudora or another email software, you will probably need to setup th mail SMTP server in account properties, to sky server.

Where you find smtp.tesco.net, you need to change to smtp.tools.sky.com.

Just changed int. provider to SKY but can't get/send emails for additional users, keep getting asked for username/password then it says it can't connect or they don't exist ! any ideas/solutions plse?


Is this with oulook express, if so You will have to reconfigure Your mail settings to skys
go into outlook choose tools -> accounts -> mail tab -> servers and change settings to skys
