I need more information in order to help you. It could be any number of things (dead sound card, missing driver, hardware problem, etc) Look in Device Manager and make sure you have an audio device installed and that it's working properly. Have you recently done anything that might have messed with the driver, such as reinstalling windows or replacing the sound card? Have you had working audio before?
