Right-click on the file and choose "Rename." Change the file extension from .jar to .zip. Click "OK."
Right-click on the file and choose "Unzip." Your computer will use its pre-installed decompression or zip application to open the file. If your system does not have a decompression application, you can download a free copy of WinZip using the link in the resource section.
Click "Save" to save the file to your hard drive. Click "Open" after the file has finished downloading.
Double-click on the file marked "Install" or "Set-up" to install the program files on your computer. If the file does not have one of these options, open the program that the files are intended for and it will automatically detect and install the files.
Double-click on the file. The Java Runtime program will automatically detect and open the file. If your system does not have Java Runtime, you can download it free from Java using the link in the resource section.
Click "Install" when prompted. Java Runtime will install the program on your computer for you.
Click "Open" to open the program after the installation process has been completed.
hi, the applications you are trying to install are not the supported format for the phone that's why the phone is seeing it as corrupted. the nokia e-series are version 3 symbian phones, meaning they use the symbian platform or operating system. you should try downloading applications with a .jar or .sisx extension. hope this helps
try to download the applications to your computer first, then connect your phone to computer, open your pc suite and copy the downloaded file from your computer to your phone's memory card, once copied, disconnect your phone from your computer, open your file explorer and look for the downloaded files in your memory card and install.
applications extension files for your handset is, jar, jad, sis and sisx..
i have most simpler solution. 1. in ur PC, open a new notepad file. (anyname.txt) 2. write <html><body><a href="yourApplicationName.jar">install yourApplicationName.jar</a></body></html> 3. save it and close the file. change file extension to .html 4. transfer this file to ur Corby along with the Jar & Jad files of ur application 6. open this file to run the application and click the link displayed 7. enjoy ur application
Just copy the jar file to you phone via bluetooth or cable. Then open it and it wil install. Zip files are not installation files. you must unzip this file on ur pc first, then copy the file in the zip archive to ur fone. It may be a jar or sis. jad will not work on the n70.
Hope this helps.
