Question about Kyocera Mita FS 1010 Laser Printer
I have a Kyocera FS1010 and every time I print the first page gets a huge top margin and the bottom of the page is missing. Subsequent pages are ok. Any clues?
I found this solution. Worked a treat. I took the printer apart and applied felts to the solenoids (the felt normally used for the bottom of cup coasters).

This manual helped too...

A solution has been found. Thank you to Steveauh (Townsville)
Kyocera in their wisdom have used a foam insulator on the 3 solenoids that disintegrates over time regardless of use.
Registration Solenoid has 2 pads (1 against the solenoid frame and the other on a stop arm, the others just the frame pad)
And that is it. The arms were being magnetically delayed due the metallic contact. It seems to be a regular problem in this chassis FS1000 to FS1030.

you need to do calibration printer in setup printer.
There it will set margins and paper size!
