I assume that the program sequence that you started with was:
[Program], 99, [CO-09 Button], 2, [desired phone number], [Store].
To change it back to CO-09:
First go back to the phone that needs to be corrected,
[Program], 99, [CO-09 Button], 0, 09, [Store].

Panasonic KX-T7730, we have a 824 phone system and cordless handsets (kx-tg1711) we cannot make outgoing calls on these handests but can take incoming calls and can transfer calls. how do we programme

  • Locate the program and auto-store button on your telephone. You will be using these to customize many of the features on your KX-T7730. The program button is used to enter or exit programming.

  • 2

Program your outgoing line preference, i.e., the line you prefer to seize when you go off hook. Press "Program" "1" "1" "store" for no line. Press "Program" "1" "2" "Store" for an idle outside line. Press "Program" "1" "3" "Outside Line Number" "Store" for an assigned outside line. The outside line number will be a single or double-digit number that is set through your phone system.

  • 3

Program your incoming line preference, i.e., the line you prefer to answer when you go off hook. Press "Program" "2" "1 "Store" for no line. Press "Program "2" "2" "Store" for ringing line. Press "Program" "3" "Outside Line Number" "Store" for an assigned outside line.

  • 4

Program your flexible CO buttons. These are the inner row of 12 lighted buttons. Your outside lines need to be programmed to these--you can choose any of these 12 buttons in any order. Press "Program" "CO Button" "0" "Outside Line Number" "Store." The outside line number will be a single or double-digit number that is set through your phone system.

  • 5

Program any other unused flexible CO buttons for an extension number or any frequently dialed phone number. Press "Program" "CO button" "1" "Extension Number" "Store" or "Program" "CO Button" "2" "9 + Phone Number" "Store". A "9" must be entered at the beginning of a phone number to tell your phone system to seize an outside line before dialing, e.g., "9-1-212-555-1234."

  • 6

Locate the programmable feature buttons (the row of 12 solid buttons on the right). These buttons are basically one-touch buttons that can be set for extension numbers or phone numbers. Press "Program" "(PF) Button" "Extension Number" "Store" or "Program" "(PF) Button" "9 + Phone Number" "Store." Remember to press "Program" again to exit programming.

  • 7

Locate your "FWD/DND" button. This button is used for setting "Call Forward" or "Do Not Disturb" on your telephone. To set call forwarding, go "off-hook" either by lifting the receiver or pressing speakerphone. Make sure you go to intercom and not an outside line. To forward all calls, go off-hook, press "FWD/DND" "1" "extension number" (the extension number that you wish to forward all your calls to) "#". After you hear a confirmation tone, place the receiver on-hook. The steps to set call forwarding for busy/no answer are the same as above, except you will press "2" in place of "1". To cancel call forwarding, press "0" in place of "1".

  • 8

Program "Do Not Disturb," which stops your phone from ringing--any callers will just hear a DND tone. To program, go off-hook, press "Program" "4" "#" on-hook, to set. Press "0" instead of "4" to cancel.

  • 9

Locate the message button--this works in coordination with your message light at the top right of your telephone. If the light is lit, press "message" to hear a message left to you either by another extension or a voice mail system. The message button can only be programmed as a message or one-touch button. To program as a message, press "Program" "Message" "3" "Store." To program as a one-touch, press "Program" "Message" "1" "Extension Number" or "Program" "Message: "2" "9 + phone number."

  • 10

Return your KX-T7730 to its default settings by pressing "Program" "#" "*" "Store."

Our office pabx is a Panasonic KX-TA616. I am trying to program personal speed dial on a Panasonic KX-T7730 (which has 12 CO buttons on the right but no Personal Feature buttons). Neither of the...

Look carefully at the part number on the phone and where you posted. A Panasonic 7730 set has 24 buttons, 12 left side C.O. buttons and 12 right side PF buttons. A TA30830 (new style) has 12 buttons with LED's. In our country, the TA30830 needed 824 version 2 or greater software to work.
In your country the other mate to that is the KXT-7667.

If your phone is one of those and actually works, as in any Panasonic set, the LED buttoon requires a "2" in front of the digit sequence to tell the system it's a PF button.. So, PROG button 2+access code+number STORE saves a speed dial. The access code is what you dial to get an outside line.

I set the One-Touch Dialling to CO. Please teach me how to cancel this setting.

The only buttons you can set to CO are the left side buttons with lights, so assuming that, press PROGRAM the button dial 2 STORE. That clears the button. Now, just in case you lost the sequence of buttons for outside lines, from the bottom press the left side buttons and read them. If they're not in 1234 sequence, dial 0x STORE to restore the CO line that belongs there.

How do I do a group fax with a M20i?

NOTE: The following solution applies only when the WorkCentre has the fax feature.

Speed Dial numbers must be set up before creating a Group Dial. If Speed Dial numbers have not been set up, See the Related Items below for additional information.
    1. Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. 'Machine Setup' will be displayed on the Display Screen.

    2. Press the [Up] or [Down] arrow button until 'Fax Setup' is selected, and then press the [Enter] button.
    3. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until 'Group Dials' is displayed, and then press the [Enter] button.
    4. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until 'New' is displayed, and then press the [Enter] button.
    5. Enter a Group Dial number between 1 and 200 using the numeric keypad, and then press the [Enter] button.

NOTE: If a 'Location No. is Registered' message is displayed, the number has already been stored as a Group Dial. Enter a number that has not been stored, and then press the [Enter] button.

    6. Enter a Speed Dial number to be added to the Group Dial using the numeric keypad, and then press the [Enter] button. The name and fax telephone number stored for the specified Speed Dial number will be displayed.

NOTE: If a 'Not Assigned Enter Again' message is displayed, the number has not been stored as a Speed Dial number. Enter a number that has been stored, and then press the [Enter] button.

    7. Press the [Enter] button. The Speed Dial number will be added to the Group Dial.
    8. Repeat steps 6 and 7 to add additional Speed Dial numbers to the Group Dial.
    9. After all required Speed Dial numbers have been added to the Group Dial, press the [Menu / Exit] button.
    10. If required, enter a name for the Group Dial using the corresponding buttons on the numeric keypad, and then press the [Enter] button. If a name is not required, press the [Enter] button.

KX-T7730 phone. Need to reprogram one of the PF buttons as a CO2 button. I accidently messed up the programming of this button while trying to program a different PF button as a one-touch dialing...

Just so we're on the same page, the PF buttons are the 12 buttons on the right and their ONLY function is one-touch dialing. They can't be CO buttons. The 12 buttons on the left are called CO buttons and they can be programmed to do a number of things, including CO, DSS, and feature access buttons.

To reprogram the button, press PROGRAM, the button, the dial 0 + the CO number (1-8) and STORE. Extensions are 1+ext and one-touch are 2+. Other features are in the programming guide.

The PF buttons are programmed by just dialing the digits, but if it calls out, you must dial an access code first, usually "9".

    Clear speed dial/one touch settings

There is no way to clear the settings you would have to re-program the correct setting. Did you program one touch speed dial on the line buttons? I do not see how programming a speed dial could effect accessing the CO lines unless you re-programmed the CO line buttons by mistake. If so, you would need to re-program those soft keys to line buttons. The manual you have may not cover this? The phone you have can work on a few different Panasonic phone systems. If you need a more detailed manual you will first need to know which Panasonic phone system you have. The phone part number WILL NOT help you determine which phone system you have. There is a main control unit somewhere (basement, utility closet, etc..)
