    its Easy!!!!!! Hold the right track button to the right or 10 secs and it works

  • dewan nafees ahmed Jun 23, 2008

    it was just a try that has worked for few people.
    but

    According to the manual, there is not "default" security code.

    You will have to contact the MFR for support.

    Manual is here;

Cant play a region 1 dvd

The DVD and *and* the DVD player both have a region code embedded in each. A map of the regions used appears below:

steve_con_2.gif

Regions 0, 7, 8 & 9 do not appear as they represent "No Region Coding" "Unused" "Cruise Lines" and "Region Free" respectively.

A DVD player will only play a matching region code DVD, or the player OR DVD have one (or more) 0, 7, 8, or 9 region codes imbedded. You'll not be able to change the DVD code, but you *might* be able to change the region code of your player. Computer DVD players can sometimes be flashed to a new region more readily than the entertainment system DVD players, but it relies solely on the manufacturer and model of the player. Some require file be downloaded and run, while others require a DVD or CD be created and played with a specific file saved on it. Here's a link to results that discuss how to change the region code for DVD players. You'll need to know at the very least the manufacturer and model number of you player to begin.

I hope this helps and good luck! If you found this helpful, please rate my reply 4 "thumbs up". Thanks!

Cannot run certain DVd on my Philips S3560 home theatre. It states region code locked for that particular DVD.

Most DVD players have their Region Code locked to only work for the country that the player was purchased from. In other words if you bought your player in Britain and then tried to play a DVD you bought from the US, you would get the error message that you are now seeing. The manufacturers do this due to the licensing agreement they have with the studios. This way you are limited to DVD's only from the country of origin.

That being said they are people who hack into DVD players and are able to read the basic operating system of the player. They are then able to find the unlock code that will allow the player to play DVD's from any region. They will then post those codes and the method to enter the codes, on different websites so that anyone with one of the model numbers listed can unlock that player.

Unfortunately not all players have been hacked this way. I searched the different sites on the Internet and your player is not listed. This means that for now you will only be able to play DVD's that are coded with your players Region Code, or DVD's that are branded as having no Region Code on them. There are sites on the Internet that sell these types of DVD's, and you can find them by simply searching using Google.

The other alternative is to purchase one of the hacked machines that are available on the Internet. These seller's have hacked their players permanently so that they will play any and all Region Codes right out of the box. Again if you do a Google search you will find many sites that can sell you a hacked unit. They even sell the same type of system as your present home theatre.

I have a 2003 jeep liberty limited edition. My battery died and i replaced it and when i started up my jeep again i went to listen to a cd and it wont go to the cd menu anymore. what could be the problem?

Your Jeep has a security feature. When you replaced battery it caused the cd player to lock up. You need to contact your local Jeep dealership to obtain the security codes to unlock cd player. They usually have that information available. Good Luck
