Is that little diode located near PL7? If yes It's SMD code looks like "6." and "J." but that J is bigger and lifted up. I have no clue what kind of diode it is but its Diode for sure - I've measure it. Anode is facing to PC146 and cathode to PR153.
Good Luck.

What is the question? You said something about the part, but did not say what you wanted to know.

Travelmate 280 doesn't boot

I don't have a schematic but I have serviced enough that the video graphics card is often source of trouble, the solders gets hot causing all kinds of symptoms from no video to erratic operation of the motherboard, to fix this you must reflow using specialized equipment. It requires the removal of the card in order to address this. Hp boards had all kinds of trouble with their video cards getting to hot, and a number of other brands have been affected, look up reballing and reflowing on youtube.

I have Acer Laptop with a JV50PU motherboard which has a faulty DC input socket connection. The laptop works OK on Charged battery but not on DC input. Is it possible to get a schematic of the motherb

If the DC Power Jack is soldered onto the motherboard then take the time to unsolder it and remove it. Then buy another DC Power Jack which costs less than $8.00 and solder it into it's place. Normally when it is soldered onto the motherboard there is no cable involved. That's all there is to it if it's soldered onto the motherboard.

If it sits on a slot in the motherboard and has a cable harness attached to it then you can purchase that too for less than $15.00. All you do then is follow where the other end of the cable harness plugs into the motherboard and unplug it. Then place the new dc jack in the slot where the old one sat and plug the other end of the cable harness into the motherboard.

I have a laptop motherboard (da0at3mb8f0) which will not power on. I see a small charred area on the motherboard right on the power input circuit. I want to replace these diodes/resistors but I cant tell...

Even if you would find the parts, it's impossible to repair it - the multilayer board on which they are soldered is shorted and that cannot be fixed.

I have a Dell Latitude D510 with the input power circuitry has blown components. I am trying to locate a schematic Diagram of this section. I need to find the values of several components.

In this regard if there are circuits blown from the laptop of motherboard, my best advise is have the motherboard replace or call DELL technical support for assistance to have same model of the motherboard that your laptop had. Thank you.

I need the schematic diagram of the dell inspiron 5150 motherboard #BDW11 LA-1682

There is no such thing as a schematic for motherboards; if there was one that wasn't proprietary, it would be about the size of your living room, there are literally millions of components involved.
The best you are likely to find is a block diagram of the board with a few discrete components shown such as capacitors a a backup battery.
The board layouts are generally available from the board mfr.s and your motherboard probably was not designed or made by Dell.
If the board is in a working unit, you can download Belarc Advisor (free) which will give you excruciating details about your system, including the board mfr. and model number:
Belarc Advisor
If the board isn't functional, Dell might tell you who made the board or there may be a manual available for the system that contains this info.

Power circuit got blown off

Are we talking the transformer (the pack you plug the laptop into and then plug into AC wall socket)? Or we talking smoke was coming from the laptop?

The transformer can be replaced. Use your favorite search engine to search for the part number for that power supply. You can find many OEM replacements including directly from Dell.

If the laptop was smoking, that could spell trouble. Once the capacitors burn out, many other components on the motherboard and expansion cards can be fried.

Unless you are a serious DIY type, I'd ask a professional technician to open it up and examine the parts.

Possible blown motherboard

you need a fully working battery as while you plug power adapter power light does not come on nor does the laptop itself turn on please check the power supply and its cord . If you have have not grounded the power supply third terminal this is possible that power is coming from body of your laptop. But check DC voltage output of power adapter. It should be approximately18 to 20 volts
