Phone displays error message "check tel line

The phone is not detecting dial tone on the line. Are you able to hear a dial tone? If not - disconnect the cable at the phone and plug into a different phone. If it works, then the problem is with the Panasonic phone - if it doesn't work - the problem is with the cable, jack, wiring, etc.

Nec cant do inter office calls

Perhaps your phone automatically grabs an outside line, therefor when you dial you're making an outside call, so you need to grab the ICM line before making an internal call. Or, your phone is restricted from any calls without an access code, extremely rare.

No dial tone cant make calls

No dial tone and inability to receive ring signals are symptoms of connection problems. The installation instructions should indicate how your telephone system should be connected to the network.

I have the Panasonic KX-T7633 and when I dial a certain number is rings engaged and comes up with ACCNT - please how do I unblock this?

You don't. It's looking for an ACCOUNT number, which are assigned by the system manager. The number you have dialed is restricted by class of service. If you have a class override code, you can use that, or go to a different phone.

Re Panasonic KX-DT321 I have read the short instruction leaflet sent with the phone but can't make head or tail of how to set the answerphone to engage after a given number of rings. I work in a busy...

Start by dialing 500 on the intercom. If that gets you into the voice mail system, then you can dial *710x 500 # where x is 4 for No Answer and 5 is Busy/No Answer call forwarding. The number of rings before the forward is controlled by *713yy where yy is a time in seconds. Each ring cycle is about 6 seconds, so 24 would be a good number.

Leaving a message on your own phone? Dialing 500 gets you into your personal mailbox as an owner. Dialing #8 and your extension gets you into the VM system as a caller. (or it might be #6, I don't have my VM online today)

Of course, if you have an ESVM instead of the TVx system, then the procedure is entirely different.

It's driving me crazy

Look in the manual about the voicemail indicator. It may need certain services not available in all areas. Ask your phone provider if that is the case.
Mainly, your phone has a voicemail. so dialing 1-800-VOICEMAIL is different that pressing the message play button locally on the machine. If you dial a phone number to check your messages, that is the problem. The messages are on your phone, and/or your voicemail service. If you have a dial in voice mailbox, disable the built in voicemail on the phone. email me aerodigital@gmail.com if you need a link to the online manual or any other help
