Most likely, its a power supply issue. Have fixed a couple of these by replacing bad capacitors on the power supply board. A bad capacitor will have the top bulging, not flat on top as it should be. The way to get the monitor apart is a little tricky. You will need to remove the screws around the top, sides, and bottom, Do Not remove screws on back in the middle. These screws hold the metallic pan that houses the power supply it's self. I used an orange pealer from Tupperware to pray the front face plate away from the back. You can use a screwdriver, if you don't mind a little marring on the face plate plastic. It's not easy removing the front face piece, lots of interconnecting plastic locks all.around the front face plate. Using your pry tool and pulling (you'll need to use a little muscle) to get the front off. Once face plate is loose, you'll notice the screen is connected to the power supply, one in the middle usually can be pulled and disconnected using your hand. I suggest taking pictures before removing the other wires holding the screen to the power supply. At this point, the front plate is removed, and the screws holding the the screen have been removed, wires disconnected, and power supply in view. Best of luck
The whole front square face of the clock has 4 little nails which are located in the middle of each side (inside and next to the edge of the joint), so you have to carefully insert a screwdriver and lever the front out. After this you have to remove the hands (remember to set the clock and alarm hand to 12:00 before taking those away). The face will be loose, and you'll have access to the mechanism. Clean the alarm contact (look for a double silver metal arm that touches an small bronze stick. Alarm button can be release by gently lever the little nail that shows in the center when button is up at clock's backside. Cheers from Argentina
Look at the back of the drain pipe directly below the sink. There is something that resembles an oversize nut that can be turned; turn it like a nut to loosen it. As soon at it is completely separated from the threads, hold on to the nut and the rod that goes right through the nut. Using one hand to hold onto the nut and rod at the same time, push the rod into the drain and rotate it downward a little. Drop the new drain plug into drain with the tab (with a hole in it on the bottom) facing away from you with the other hand. Now comes the slightly tricky part. Use hand to hold onto the nut and rod and use the other hand to hold onto the new drain plug in the correct orientation. Back off the rod away from the drain a little bit and drop the drain plug a little to align the hole (on the tab) with the rod. Now move the rod back into the drain and ensure that you've inserted the rod onto the new drain plug by rotating the rod up and down. Once everything's in place, tighten the nut back. The nut should be tight, but not too tight or the drain with be hard to open/close. Hand tighten it only, don't use a wrench. A common mistake is to not have the nut aligned properly when you start tightening it, just be sensible about it. An experienced person can do the whole job in under 2 minutes.
Remove the two screws on the inside side. It should pull apart maybe with a little wingling. The new one will install the same way the old one came out. To reinstall(with one hand) it would be easier if you can somehow hold the one side while you put the other side on like hold it with tape or up agaist something and up agaist the wall. Hope it goes well. Need any more info let me know.
