How do we stop the soap from leaking out of the two drawer dishwasher? It leaks a little when the top drawer is running and there is an excessive amount when the bottom drawer runs. It is thick and gouey. I'm afraid it will ruin the wood floor it stands on.

When a flood condition is detected, both draws will activate the drain motors and flash F1. Remove the bottom drawer and dry the catch basin.
There are three possible scenarios;
1. Defective lid motor(s)...Each drawer has two lid motors, attached to the cabinet on either side of the drawer, that pull the lid tight to the drawer when the cycle is started. (this was very common on early models)
2. Something too tall was placed in the drawer preventing the lid from closing completely.
OR
3. (only seen this once) the drain hose developed a crack causing water to leak only when draining.

Remove the door and cover underneath the tub to see where the leak is coming from. it could be from drain hose, lid not comiming down even on tub, leak from tub seals underneath or from the dispenser at the front.let me know how you got on.

How do I remove the drawer in a fiisher and paykel 6031 dishwasher. I only have one drawer and it is leaking water. Want to check out if there is a leak behind. think it may also be the top seal. if so...

There are two tabs, one on each side that will release the drawer to slidr forward. I have enclosed a photo of the square tab on one side. press both sides in and pull the drawer toward you . There shouls be a wire bale on the rear that hods the water lines. If these are interfering with the seal that will be the cause of your leak.7_3_2012_2_56_28_am.jpg

How to get bottom drawer out of fisher paykel dd6031

I wasn't able to find an exact match to your reported model (DD603I?), but all of the DD60xx models appear to have the same drawer removal process:

2_23_2012_6_18_56_am.jpgI actually took this from the installation guide for the KitchenAid dishdrawer (also made by F&P), since it had the clearest images.

Fisher & paykel fault "F1" is displayed on the top

hello
F1 means the flood sensor senses water at base of machine at PC board.
You need to take out bottom drawer and check for water puddle under where the drawer was.If there is water you can get the machine going again by comletely drying it out(F1WILL CLEAR),but it still means you have a leak. With bottom drawer out you can really see whats going on.Once F1 is clear you can actually run upper drawer and see if it leaks. Most likely culprit are the lid actuators.Replace all 4 . It'll run like new.Don't overload drawer .That can cause lid leak too. Also the PC board may be damaged and may start to go crazy giving fake F1 codes.$80 easy fix.
good luck

Hello, I have a Fisher and Paykel DD603I and both drawers have a red light on the play/pause button and won't stop beeping. Can you please help me with a solution to this problem?

Hello,
It sounds like the dishwasher is in flood mode. You would need to dry up the water in the base pan and test. The link below is a video that explains how to repair your fisher paykel dishwasher.

My fisher dd6031 bottom drawer doesn't seem to get rid of all the water,,and it keeps beeping and will keep beeping through the night if you don't catch it...we have been putting it through another rinse...

You will have to take the filter plate out the motor rotor out. Then clean the rotor cavity and replace in reverse order.

Are you getting any error codes?
Does the beeping stop if you turn the power off and on?

I have a Fisher Paykel dishwasher with water in top drawer

You need a Air gap kit designed by Fisher and Paykel to address this problem. It is pricey but it is worthy. I used this and very happy with it since no back flow problem from one while other running. Here is a link to order it.http://www.fisherpaykelparts.net/product/WT50/WT50-Dual-Air-Gap-Kit/

Fisher paykel dishwasher is starting on its own. Will not stop Both drawers . Need help and approximate cost to fix.

Not sure if you are getting any fault codes on the display.

The most common problem is water getting on the base of the dishwasher.

Turn the mains power off. Extend the bottom drawer out as much as possible and dry the base with towels and hair dryer.

Water can leak if the drain hose is cracked or is kinked. Have it checked.
