You can delte the files you don't want through iTunes or Windows Media Player - there is specific help on these program websites on deleting files. As for loading Audiobooks - some iPods support them, and others don't - depends on your exact model#

Is it possible to load Bible book (not audio) into my Ipod? How? I have in it loaded already an NIV audio Bible. I want the book to read for Bible study. Thank You.

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

You need to make sure that the Ipod is compatible with the filetype in order to load and see correctly.

To do this, right click on one ofthe Bible files and choose properties. See if you can tell what file type it is. I believe that Ipods only support a handful of files types.

You can also check out this free software for adding video's to your Ipod, it will show you how to convert the files to a compatible version if need be.

Hope this helps!

How can I charge the battery of my iPod Touch?

Apple goes out of his way for most of its products easier to use. The iPod Touch is no exception. Load it requires only the USB cable and comes with access to a computer. The battery is not user, if your iPod does not charge you or a defective battery, which requires the device to an Apple reseller.

1. Turn on the computer. Let it boot completely before proceeding. If a laptop, connect it

2. Turn your computer into sleep or hibernation. On a Windows machine, you can do this by going to the Start menu, click "Control Panel" and select "System and Maintenance". Click the "Power Options" and click "Change Power Settings". Click the "Advanced Settings", select "Never" in the options for the "sleep after" setting. On a Mac, go to "System Preferences" and click on "Energy Saving" option. Check the box next to "Put the hard drive (s) to sleep when possible".

3. Connect the iPod to the USB cable. Connect the other end of the cable to your computer. Your iPod will automatically begin charging.

4. Turn off the iPod when it reports that it has completed loading.
Want to download audio book on CD to my MP3 player

I had this jumbled up problem as it wasn't splitting up the tracks ie I had 6 track ones lined up together which put the chapters out of sync.
The trick is to load each CD individually and immediately 'rename' each ie name of book, genre, CD1, CD2 etc.
Then you can drag and drop into the MP3 player and they will be in the correct order.
Worked for me anyway.

E260 uploading audio books from the library

Oh my ! , I like your style , I consider you a true thinker.

1. break the albums down into smaller chunks as individual files
2. make sure that when you've ripped the files off the CDs that you rip them as MP3 files
3. make sure that you check each file with an encoder checker such as encspotbasic 2.0 before loading them to the E260

Do these things weed hopper and all will be well with you.

Shalom :-)
