Question about Computers & Internet
To ever can ans this
i need to add a biger h/d to my system.
my main board is a SL-75LIV.
can this main board support a 400gb h/d
I would think it would support it....you have to make sure that the jumper on the back of the hard drive is set to master, if it is the main hard drive, or slave, if it is a secondary one...also, make sure you have the right cable to connect it with...if it is a SATA drive, you'll need an adapter to fit an IDE ribbon cable...if that is what your motherboard uses.

HP XB3000 Docking Station HDD Hard Drive Tray
I just received an XB3000 expansion base and I've found an opening for an expansion hard drive, but it needs a special tray. Ebay has a seller who is pricing them at $119. Less the drive itself. I payed a total of $36 for my docking station and I'm not sure what magic the extra drive would bring about. So if I find out that adding a hard drive inside my fancy docking station works magic I'll purchase the tray, but if it doesn't do anything special I'll skip the waste of money.
