Re: os not found
Operating system not found indicates that the system is not seeing a bootable device. Possible causes are:
1. Hard drive not detected due to loose connection. Reseat the HDD.
2. Hard Drive is failing/Failed. Replace HDD
3. System has a floppy drive and a diskette in the drive, remove diskette, reboot
4. Hard drive not in boot sequence. Reset BIOS to defaults

First go the site of your Laptop manufacture. Once there enter the model number OR service tag of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptop If this didn't help you then It seems that your OS has registry problem, simply get the Intel software partner Reginout to fix OS registry properly and fix the errors which causing display problem Thanks
I've found the Microsoft Fix-it tool often resolves this issue:
if the automated tool doesn't fix the issue, then execute the manual steps for your os listed below the Fix-it Tool.

Hello Bartlett, Hi!, looks like you bought a laptop fresh with no OS installed. You need to buy a licensed windows OS, be it XP or 7, The OS installation is kinda long to describe here, watch youtube for installation of OS.
os not found usually means that your hd is faulty.
try remove hd and reseat it.
if no joy have os disk(windows) in cd drive start pc and boot from disk.
select install windows...system checks drive and informs of existing os..want to continue...install windows...next screen shows partitions.choose to delete partition then create new then format and install.
if when u try to boot from disk system say no hd found then hd is damaged.
