Hey guayabito,

The conversation dropped off but it need to get a hold of me you can check out my profile and click on the ask button.

Theres some steps to do. I just took a windows media file and ran it through the Nero burning program. The playback was fine.

I use another program to burn DVDs than Nero. I just use it for duplicating with but it works the same way as my software does.

WinXP with NERO8, and SP3

If you have WinXP and NERO v. 8, - then DONT upgrade yor system to SP3.
Your controlpanel disaper, and uninstall of the SP3 is impasible, but, - if you got this problem, do as follow:
"run" regedit, find and delete all nero 8 related issues, it takes about a milion years, but its the only way.
When this is done, and your controlpanel is reachable, delete SP3, and do all the updates for SP2 +.
Then reinstall NERO8 again, and you are back on track.

Diamond One-touch video capture audio doesn't work with s-video

i had the same problem.  it turns out the s-video does not carry audio so you have to hook up a separate audio line.  On my camera there is a mini plug a/v jack...so i run a mini plug out to a rca jack splitter and then run rca cords to the red and white jacks on the one touch....then it works great.

Toshiba satellite m100 90% of time dvd drive is not located afterstart up. drive will open on eject & led lights up but does not reconize? & sits idle. re-starting over twice & it will work...

Uninstall Nero * and see if the problem persist. If it doesn't then it is Nero.
If the problem is still there after removing Nero, Go to Start > Control Panel > System >Hardware > Device Manager. The click the + sign on the DVD/CD drive. Right click and click uninstall. the restart the laptop.
Let me know.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Why did nero8 only half load onto my computer and now i cannot find it

Low space on your HDD may be the culprit. The other reason is a corrupt installer. Please try uninstalling and restart your PC. then check for availability of free hard disk space. You may install Nero in any other partition where ample free space is available... If all these doesn't work, try getting another installer. BOL.
