had the same problem so returned it to curries. Most helpful. Second machine stopped producing hot water on only the fourth cupper. Couldn't believe it despite doing everything the instructions said. Now my wife is really nagging me!ha. In the process of liaising with tefal.

Sounds like Mfr defect. Do not recomend trying to repair since it is new and could void any warranty. Recomend returning to where you bought to get a new one.

Brand New 2 weeks old 4 ton Trane compressor leaks a lot of water onto pad

If the unit is running in cold weather than there is ice building up on the coils located outside. This is normal in that the unit is running in heat pump mode heating inside and cooling outside, After the unit detects the ice build up it briefly reverses the cycle heating the outside coils melting(defrosting) the ice which you observe as water on the pad.

The video gives you an example of the defrost cycle!

The best water to use is Evian water, i use this on all my t-shirts. If you need to descale the unit. Take 3 parts water for every one part CLR cleaner. DO NOT USE DRAINO.

Hello, I recently had a Rinnai tankless water heater installed. The old water heater was in the garage. The new tankless heater is installed outside, and is about 25 feet away from where the old one...

I agree with you. The foam insulation should only be on the Hot Water side. The cold water side doesn't make any difference, as that temperature rarely changes in California.

Hope this helped you AK, thanks for choosing FixYa.

I have a 7 year old danby portable air conditioner it seems to work good but my neighbor just purchased a new 12000 mine is 10000 he said he has to empy water frequently We have never had a drop of water...

This model is designed to heat the condensed water and send it out the exhaust duct as vapour. It prevents accumulation on less humid days. It sounds like it's served you well for seven years.

However, I do recommend one step for owners of the DPAC series. At the end of the season, drain the internal tank by opening the two taps at the bottom rear. Put a pan beneath them . The internal tank only holds one cup of water.

We have a Worcester Bosch Highflow 400 (10 year old) combi boiler. Over the last few weeks when we have put on the heating the boiler kicks in and fires up and the heating comes on (the water comes on fine...

The by pass pipe may be limed up. This apparently causes a reduced flow which will stop the heating side of the thing working. Call out Worcester Bosch engineer. It costs £210 including VAT and most parts and they almost guarantee to get it working.

Water is not coming out hot enough for coffe or tea from my tefal quick cup

It won't be hot it's like tap water. Did you see the drain for the furnace?

My tefal quick cup now just flows cold water ?

Your unit more than likely has a thermal fuse built into the electrical circuit which is open. This is a built in safety to prevent overheating in the event someone failed to shut off the unit when they finished.

I have a 6 year old Halstead Ace High boiler which has many recurring problems due to a bad fitting. It was never flushed out causing the heat exchange needing to replaced TWICE through clogging and then...

Firstly your system needs a power flush to get rid of the grot, then it needs a good inhibitor to slow up the reappearance of the sludge.

Changing the boiler won't help. Any boiler will get clogged up but the halstead DHW heat exchanger is particualrly prone to getting gummed up. You can clean this out and refit without having to buy a new one. - but without a power flush it will happen again.
