Question about Kitchen Ranges
I have a Hotpoint electric range and recently the large burner element seems to be operating intermittently. How can i determine if it is the element, tertminal or control, without replacing each part one at a time?
Hotpoint Electric Range Model RB734
I had to put in a dummy product in order to make this questionnaire to work.
Take out the element and look at the connecting ends see if there are char or burn marks where they make the connection. One thing you might try doing is cleaning the connections, if that does'nt work you will probably need to replace the element.
Hope this helps ya

Tips for a great answer:

Hi Will Lawler - If the small element turns on but the large element does not, then more than likely, the range has a faulty burner or switch. If I was in your position, I would personally contact a professional for an accurate diagnosis and to assist with the repairs.
