I'm not sure if your problem is the same as mine was, but I just went through the same thing. If you go to Settings, Network Settings, and then perform an Internet Connection Test, mine could not acquire an I.P. Address, even though it had been able to since March. Then suddenly 2 weeks ago it just couldn't, so luckily on June 18th, PS3 came out with a new firmware patch, it upgrades 2.35 to 2.36. So I downloaded 2.36 off their website and installed it onto the PS3 using a Flash Drive. It now Works Perfectly. When installing, installation failed twice before correctly installing on the third try.
Check your router setting will acept ps3 you can get into router by typing router ip adress into search bar on pc router ip settings will be in router manual ,hope this helps
Instructions
Make sure your wireless Internet connection is active and at full strength. Unplug the PS3
