The blue screen indicates either an operating system error that will need either a system repair or reload using the system recovery disc or an operating system disc, or it indicates a hard drive failure, in which you will need a new hard drive. Start by trying a system repair, then reload if the repair doesn't work. If the machine has issues during or after the repair/reload, then it's the hard drive. The blue screen should have an error code. Sometimes it's helpful if you list the error code, it could tell us exactly which it is. I won't be back until tomorrow, but if you want to try the repair/reload tonight, and if it doesn't work let me know and I'll see if I can tell you what the code means.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
