Just disconnect and reconnect your battery. The problem might fix. Else it is necessary to replace the player. You can find cd player replacement at http://www.autopartspoint.com/products/cd-radios.html

Dear all, I have a Pegeute 307sw with a Blaupunkt Audio set with Multi stack CD Phone Nav SAT . Apperently the Multi stack cd is not functioning any more and the buttons numbers are...

Cd changer is mainly a mechanical unit, most common problems are caused by gears and dirty lens.
Try disconnecting the cd changer power cable and connecting it back, if it reset the changer it will restart working normally, if not you have to replace or take out for repair the cd changer.

When you put fader to rear theres no sound its a sony 6stack cd player sony6000

Check to make sure your wires are hooked up right. A good way to check your wires is to pull the cd player out. unhook - and + to right rear speaker. Touch the - and + to corresponding ends of a AA battery. Have someone in the trunk to see if the speaker moves. If it doesn't, replace your wire going back or maybe a bad speaker. if it does move and you hook it back to the cd player right, and there is still no sound...it is the cd player. Best of luck to you!

My -rw will not play on my cd player

When you record to the cd-rw, make sure that you're making an Audio disk, not a multi-session (record disk-at-once) and make sure that the software finalizes the disk.

If that's still not working, post back the make and model of the CD player and I'll try to find a tech note for it. (use the "add comment" link)

If that does help, please be sure to hit the "thumbs up" for me!

Hold is on and nothing will will work how do i turn off hold on a alpine cda-7892 cd player

Try resetting it. Also if it won't reset using the reset button found behind the faceplate. Take off the negative battery cable under the hood this should reset everthing. Then replace it. If it is old and the motor is having trouble kicking the cd out then stick a used no good cd in on top of the other cd and use it to apply pressure to the cd in the player then pull it out after pressing eject

CD Player not workinig

Try using a cd player cleaner disk, then remove the radio fuse in the fuse block wait about five minutes then re-install. This is done to restart the radio. If that don't work disconnect the negative from the battery, wait five minutes then reattach, this will restart the cd player for sure. This will also restart the car computer just so you are aware.

Cd player not working

Need more info to provide you with a solution. For example, what brand and model is the cd player, is it an aftermarket or factory unit, does the radio work, did you unhook the battery, etc?
