If your are sure that you have power at the end of the connector that plugs into you printer and the printer's power switch will not turn the printer on then you either have a bad power switch or other power problem inside the printer - you will have to take the printer to a PC technician to have it repaired.

If there is is no power at the end of the connector that plugs into your printer then you have to replace your power cord.

Try i560 Reset Procedures for Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers

1. Turn off Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your Canon i550, i560, i850, i860, i865, i9100, i9950 Printers should respond as normal.

You can download all ur drivers and softwares that you have in ur cd from canon official website for i865 printers at here.
All you have to do is select ur OS and Language!!

Hi! I've got same problem. Canon userguide says that 5 flashes means the print head is not installed/not properly installed, or it is defective.Not yet sorted problem out - new print-heads are expensive!
