Can you hear a rattle when you shake the unit? Listen carefully! There is a screw that comes off and creates this problem. Can be fixed by the service centre as you have to open the system.

Hi!

Almost sure there is nothing wrong with your battery, charger and camcorder.
The battery loose power even when doing nothing, especially when it is a NiMH type.

Please charge the battery for a couple of hours and try again to start the camcorder.

Good luck!

Reset button ?

Sometimes there is a reset button and sometimes you have to reset it through a menu. Of course, if it won't turn on, then you can't get to the menus.

This is more of a problem with charger than Battery, check if power pack gets warm after 30 min or so, if cold it is not going.
