Question about Amcor PLM-14000E Portable Air Conditioner
just got an amcor off ebay and it does not appear to blow the air out cold enough. I thought it should be icy cold, whereas on 18, the lowest temp, it just seems a little cool. Is this normal or is there a problem
PS the model I have is the one with a round blue LCD display on the front, similar to the picture on the home page of this web site
Check the air coming out with a thermometer. It should be approximately 20-26 degrees colder than the air being sucked in. If it is less than that but it is cooling, there is most likely a freon leak in the system causing it to be low on charge
