HI. Unfortunately, this damaged timer control module will need to be replaced. This type of device is not designed to be repaired. The timer motor mechanism is damaged, thus, causing theses issues you are experiencing. Apparently, part of the timer dial plate has become fused, or the cogs are damaged.

Have the timer control module replaced, asap. It is not repairable.

I have a Bosch SHU43C06UC, the timer module was replaced during the recent recall. Before that, the old timer was within a few seconds of the technical information timers guide (page 57): R&H 9 min, QW...

Hi, I have a suspicion when the new control was installed the "programming" may not have been done correctly. You should contact the dealer responsible for the "rework". Failing any help with them I'd suggest contacting b/s/h customer service. To answer the question re; can it be reset to factory defaults ? Answer; sort of. If programmed correctly, you should have comparible cycle times as previously. There is always the possibility the control installed is faulty as well. I know having had quite a few reworks working for Sears, and the rare one was faulty. Hope that helps good luck

Spitfire controls Clock/Timer on Oven

all a relay is a on off switch. 120v goes into L2in and into a control relay post where it sits sits until 12V energizes the relay coil thus producing an electromagnetic effect which draws the relay contact to a closed position thus placing the 120v from L2in to the 120v L2 out post this voltage then goes on to the oven heating element.
Circuit board voltages which are 16V are derived from L1 which comes in as 120v goes through a step down transformer and gets converted to 16 vac, the voltage then goes through a bridge rectifier which turns the voltage to DC the
DC voltage is routed to the various electronic components, op-amp, microprocessor, etc.

Dishwasher sticking to one cycle

HI, this will occur when the timer module is malfunctioning. the timer module will need to be replaced asap, if possible. the mechanism has failed.

This applies to the newer model with control boards as well. the timer module and, control boards are principal initiators of the entire wash cycle and, if in anytime, they fail to advance the cycle properly, they must be replaced.
