Before taking it apart, you need to turn off the cold and hot water valves under the sink. Once you have done that, open the faucet and let the remaining water run out into the sink. Since I am not sure what the age of your faucet is. I will be using instructions for a common Delta faucet.

1. There is a hole towards the bottom of the handle in the front. It may have a plastic button there. If so, pry the button off with a very small flat head screwdriver. Try not to damage it.

2. If your going to replace the seals, it is best to by the rebuild kit that comes with a special tool. It includes the allen wrench and spanner wrench in one. And all necessary parts to rebuild it.

3. Once you get the handle off, you will see a dome shaped part with two notches in it. It may have ridges on the side of it. That is the special fitting that holds all the parts down.

4. Remove the dome shaped part with the tool provided with the parts kit.

5. Replace all parts that match yours.

6. Install everything in reverse order and you should be good to go.

How do I replace a single handle Delta mixer??

You would have to open up your drywall, cut and re-solder a new single handle faucet. An easier approach could be to shutting off your water supply, draining the lines in your bathroom from someplace below, and then trying to fix the bad soldered joint if you know how to do so.
I hope this helped.

How do i disassemble Delta Innovations Centerset

So I believe based on what you are writing, it's a double handle style faucet. So you loosened the set screw that holds the handle on which is located near the top of the handle close to where you would grab. I would totally remove it from the handle just to make sure its not catching on a burr. If you have pulled and it will not come off, you will have to use a handle puller. Your local hardware store should carry them for less than $10. When you see the puller, it will be self explanatory on how to use it. Sometimes the handles can be hard to remove especially if they haven't been removed in a long time. Worst case is that you will have to cut the handle off and replace both the stem and the handle. That can be a little more costly. Hope this helps.
