- My 42" sylvania plasma T.v. keeps flickering and it does it for long periods of time. It seems like when it's on for awhile and it gets hot is when it does it. MY TV KEEPS FLICKERING LOOKS LIKE IT IS FAST FORWARDING. IT SOMETIMES LAST A LONG TIME ,OTHER TIMES NOT SO LONG BUT IT IS VERY ANNOYING. IS IT THE TV OR THE CABLE BOX? PLEASE ADVISE. I HAVE VERIZON CABLTV WITH FIOS...........THANK YOU VIRGINIA KIRLIS
