where did the phone land - (eg top left corner - front)?
Is there damage to the chassis of the phone?
If there's a crack in the screen and a little moisture got in there would be problems, also if the contacts to the display are damaged this could do something similar to what you are describing.
I have seen iPhones and iPads still working with very broken screens, but I guess the damage was to the outer screen cover only.
Holding the home and lock button at the same time reboots the phone. Press and hold the power button for about 2 seconds, the apple logo should come on then may go dark. Depending on how much data you have on your phone it could take a few minutes to boot up, just like your computer would.
Get into your GM vehicle with your Bluetooth compatible cell phone and turn both on. Use the dashboard controls to turn your GM's Bluetooth system to its "Discovery Mode."
Go to the Bluetooth application on your phone and turn the Bluetooth mode on to its "Discovery Mode." Now your phone will begin searching for other Bluetooth devices within its range. When it locates your GM's Bluetooth, your phone's screen will show the name of your vehicle and ask if you'd like to continue syncing the two Bluetooth devices. Select "Yes."
Enter the numeric code that appears on your GM control panel screen into your phone and continue the pairing process. While pairing, your phone will share your contact information with your GM to enable the Caller ID on the dash screen to work.
Confirm successful pairing by making a phone call. Make calls using your GM's voice activation, which is done by pushing the "Phone" button on your steering wheel. You can also dial from your phone's keypad and the sound will transfer to your GM's speakers.
Have you tried doing a hard reset, Holding down both the home button on the bottom face of the phone and the on/off switch on the top left of the phone. Holding both those buttons down for about ten seconds will cause the iphone to restart and give you an apple symbol. when you get the apple symbol you can release those buttons.
you will need to do a forced restore on iphone to resovle the iphone passcode lost problem. but when you do a forced restore on iphone, you will wipe all content from the iphone. To do a forced restore hold the HOME button, then connect to the USB cable and continue holding for a LONG time (a minute or more). Once iTunes responds release the button and your iphone will be restored.
or you can try to plug it into iTunes with it at the unlock screen. Somewhere it should say “Unlock your iPhone” or something like that in iTunes. Click it. Otherwise do a restore by going to the screen where it shows how much memory you have used up in iTunes and click “Restore”. Restore it as a new device (not from back up) in iTunes. After that, you can just sync your media and apps back onto it.
pls see this First !! B4 reset
Straight from Apple Iphone Manual
Camera is not functioning
Tap Camera, then point and shoot. Note:
If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically
saved in landscape orientation. If you do not see Camera on the any of
the multiple Home screens, check to make sure that Restrictions are not
turned on by tapping Settings > General > Restrictions. If they are, set Allow Camera to ON or tap Disable Restrictions (in iPhone 2.1 software or later).
If that doesn't work, clean the camera lens with the cleaning cloth that came in the box with iPhone.
