My washer leaks at bottom of door? - LG Washing Machines

I have the same problem, I might give that a try. After looking at my washer the problem in my opinion is the tub appears to be further back than it was when it was new. The tub is hooked to the rubber seal in the front. It you grab a hold of the tub and pull it forward the door theseal moves forward making a better seal. I am wondering if the vibration of normal operation have moved the inner assembly back. I'll let you all know.

Often happens.
sometimes can be cured by removing door gasket from cabinet and carefully bending the flange outwards with a pair of pliers

No offense, but I think it's time for a new washer. The only thing that comes to mind for leaking would be a broken hose. Is it leaking out of the bottom bottom or like the bottom of the door?

Front loader washer leaks from bottom center of door osmetimes

Check inside the door on the bellows gasket to make sure the inlet area (normally at the 10 o'clock position) is properly positioned around the water inlet, sometimes these work themselves off the inlet nozzle and can casue a leak when the washer is filling up.

Also, carefully run your hand around the bellows gasket to see if you can find any small holes that cold be letting water leak out. You'll need a flashlight to make this easier. It is hardly ever the hinges that causes a leak since the hinges are mounted outside of the door seal gasket (bellows gasket) and aren't ever exposed to the water.

LG front load washer -- water leaks out the bottom of the door -- if I push on the door while its running, the water slows/stops leaking...

First, clean off the bottom of the door glass where it contacts the gray tub gasket when the door closes. Any hair or other build up can result in leakage. Second, if that does not completely solve your leak, you can move the location of the spring which holds the tub gasket from the very bottom (6 O'clock position) to the hinge area (9 O'clock position). Third: Sometimes, the reason you get a leak is due to the installation. If the washer was pushed into place by applying pressure in the center front of the washer, the outer front panel can be slightly deformed (inwerd) resulting in leakage from the door. If that is the case, sometimes you can remove the outer clamp and outer part of the gray seal and pull out on the front panel to correct the situation if it is not too severe, rather than replacing the entire front panel.

Leaking from bottom of washer

Do you have the little door at the bottom to collect lint and stuff that goes through the washer? I had a leaking problem once when I simply didn't tighten it enough. Check that.

Water leaking out the bottom of the door

You most likely need to make a small adjustment to the door. While the door is open push the bottom of the door towards the machine and pull the top of the door away from the machine, be careful not to go too far. that should take care of the leak. Before you do that make sure the water is coming out between the glass and the seal. I would remove the lower panel and make sure the seal doesn't have a small hole. You should see the seal leak from the inside. Hope this helps
