Problem for Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2005 for PC

I cannot run a scan or update.

PC-cillin 14 was installed on my new DELL and appeared to be working fine. Now, whenever I try to scan or update I keep getting the following message: The feature is still loading. Please wait a moment, and then try again." I am using Window XP.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

- Thanks. I downloaded the antivirus software and did a complete scan of my system. While no viruses were detected, it fixed the problem. PC-cillin seems to be working fine now. I uninstalled Avira and ran a system check with PC-cillin and no viruses, spyware or malware were detected.

Again, thanks for your help and suggestion.

this is either due to bad installation, you could ask the store where you bought your pc to reinstall the antivirus. Or due to strong virus which took control from pc-cillin and this situation is common, for this you can download another antivirus like avira from
http://www.free-av.com/
install it, scan your pc thendisable it and go back to your pc-cillin.
