I need the service manual of '29mcz5m toshiba tv'

I went to the Toshiba web site (www.tacp.toshiba.com/customersupport/) and entered the model number you gave. It said no such model exists. If you can, please double check that number & click on the link I gave. You can download a PDA version of your service manual & have a hard copy. Hope this helped, kwmjo. Good luck with you repair.

Humming sounds come from the power supply and buzzing sounds come from other circuitry. Most likely a capacitor somewhere.

TV Making a Loud Noise

this can happen with the flyback transformer's brightness which can be adjusted , also the power transformer can make humming or buzzing sounds which can't be adjusted , also this can happen with the picture tube or the CRT board failing , and sometimes chips with heat sinks or the IC's themselfs
