How to change hard drive

if u available online than i can help u by telling u d procedure.....
i cant tell u now becaz if i tell u procedure n dere is some error occurs then hw could u solve it....so it is needed to be online both of them....

If this is to replace the original drive, you will find it behind one of the blank plates on the front panel. Remove the side cover and the power cord. You should see the drive at once. Remove the 4-pin power plug and the wide data plug. Remove the mounting screws (2). There is facility to place 2 more on the other side as well, but it is hard to get to, so there are usually none installed. Mount the new one in it's place. Install both plugs. It will need formatting which is done when windows is installed. You will also have to first go to 'setup' bios to confirm the drive--exit and save. If this is to be a second drive, go through the above in one of the vacant slots and find the extra power and data plugs. Confirm the 'setup' in bios as before, then let windows format and partition the new drive. It should automatically assign the new drive letter. Hope that helps.
