JV AV36890 TV. My young daughter pressed buttons and managed to switch it from channels in the "A" set (ie A02, A03, A04...) to the B set- which has resulted in fuss and noise. Even the menu screens jump and are out of focus. How do I get it back to the A set?

On your remote, push the input button, to change the input back to A. If that don't work, then unplug your set from the wall for 40min, and that will reset it back to normal.

I am trying to program my "Direct TV" remote to my Samsung LCD TV Series 5 and can not find the 5 digit code needed to do so.

If you have a DIRECTV white remote, press "menu" then "settings," "setup," "remote", and follow the on-screen instructions.
If using a gray or black remote,
  • Make sure your TV is turned on.
  • Slide the mode switch at top of remote to "TV".
  • Press and hold the MUTE button. This is located above the number 1 button.
  • While still holding down MUTE, press and hold the SELECT button until green light at the top of the remote flashes twice.
  • Then enter 9911, the green light on remote should flash twice.
  • Point remote at TV and press CHANNEL UP button. Tap the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly until the TV powers off.
  • When the TV powers off, press and release the SELECT button.

I have just connected my Viera to power & antenna. The screen said "New channels found" so I selected that. It said it would take 3 minutes. It found the channels and stated on the top yellow...

Run through the set-up again and after it says channels found, at the top YOU MUST hit the SELECT on the screen in order for the set to log them into memory, otherwise there will be nothing. So high-light the select after it all done and your ready to go.

I just set it up (it is used) and I can't get to the "Channel Manager" in the setup menu, as it is grayed out. I can't auto program because of my inability to access this menu function.

    Hi,
Channel menu will be grayed out if tv is set on AV Input, select TV source by remote or press any channel number to set tv on tv source, this will enable channel manager/ menu to tune channels in tv.
Hope these info will help you.
    Thanks

Could you please tell me what error codes 21 and 6 relate to on a Winterhalter GS502 dishwasher. Many thanks. Barry CER

error 6 relates to a blocked drain pump. if the drain pump is working ok check if the tank level sensor is operating or if the air chamber in the wash tank is blocked.
error 21 relates to the drain pump being activated. normally related to error 6.
also check water inlet solenoid valve is working correctly. ie not blocked or passing.
all parts of the machine can be activated manually by entering service mode.
when machine is off press service button or switch on main pcb.
p00 appears. press and hold main wash button. --- appears. using the long and short wash buttons you can scroll through parts of the machine. displayed as a01 a02 a03 etc.drain pump is a12 solenoid valve is a13. these are activated by pressing the button. when activating the drain pump the display will count down. this number is the water level in the wash tank. if it's counting down the level sensor is ok.
    hope this helps
