    Thanks for your reply!

If i cut the extension to the required length what special parts would i need to use to ensure a leak free fit to the spiggot?  I ask this because at the moment the extension has rubber ends but if i cut it then 1 end will need to attach to the spiggot or to the joining piece but will no longer have the rubber.

    Thank you very much

Is the silicon sealant approach a recognised long term solution? Do i
apply the silicon direct to the spiggot or to the inside of the pipe?
Is it best to use this approach at the spiggot end or at the connector?

    Thanks a lot.

Can I buy an extension waste pipe with moulded ends? When you cut the pipe available from DIY lthe internal diameter of the pipe is too small to fit over the standard waste spigots also the pipe splits at the spigot because the plastic cannot take the stress.

Yes it can. however check that the spigot is not blanked off - they usually are to prevent water gushing out when you empty the sink. remove the blank

Yes otherwise the water in the waste trap could be sucked dry and allow fumes to enter the room by the waste trap.

Can waste pipe be connected directly into sink waste u-bend

Yes as long as it is before the u bend (pea trap).

If you do not have the connection already there (I assume not). Go to the home improvement store and and ask the plumbing guy for the dishwasher connection. You will also need glue and primer.

Cut into your drain line and remove just enough to fit your new connection. Note that the drain slides about half and inch in at each end so leave enough to do that connection.

Clean and prime the drain lines and new fitting.

Apply glue to fitting.

Insert the new fitting.

Connect your dishwasher per instructions with your unit.

Hope this help. Please rate this solution.

Hi 2005 rm 125 need to know where the carb pipes go from the carb! thanks

The black fuel line goes to the large matching spiggot on the L/H side of the carby. The clear/semi clear hoses all go down towards the back of the carby under the airbox between the motor & swing arm. These are all overflow hoses(incase you crash or the float needle & seat sticks in the carby bowl). DO NOT connect these small hoses from one little spiggot to the other little spiggot.
Hope this helps

Ineed an installation manual for a Whirpool Model DU806cwdb5 dish

You will have 2 pipes and a flex, Or 1 pipe 1 flex and a connection for a inlet pipe.
Connect the gray, larger pipe to the waste out let(drop in a stack or connect to a "spiggot", then connect the smaller pipe to the water inlet, you can usually connect to the washing machines inlet using a "y" piece, remembering to shut off the water before disconnecting. Then plug in the flex and away you go.(remembering to turn the water back on and a quick check for any leaks)

Sounds like your waste pipes aren,t connected properly. You need a water trap (u bend) between the dishwasher and the main waste pipe from the sink. Any decent plumber should be able to fix in less than an hour.Cheers Derek.

Hooking carbage disposal to diswashing not sure where it hooks on the dishwasher itself

Waste line from dishwasher to waste connects to one of
  • small spigot on extension pipe above the disposal up high under counter
  • small spigot on side of disposal directly above sewer connection, below blade
  • small spigot on sewer line below disposal, but above U trap
at the dishwasher end, the hose connects to the pump output, under the base of the dishwasher, usually left side of center, there is no external spigot
you have to run the waste line under from the back, and connect from the front , by removing the kick plate under the door opening

Brand new dishwasher will not finish washing, it just beeps and the lights flash red - CANDY CDP 1L39W/K I have a brand new Candy dishwasher model CDP 1L39W/K that won't finish it's wash cycle. When I do P5 for a fast 5minute cycle I hear the dishwasher fill up, it begins to wash, and then after it drains the water, then the dishwasher begins beeping repeatedly and flashing the red light under the P5 setting. When I check the detergent slot it hasn't been used yet. When I select a long wash like P3 the same thing happens after it drains the water, so I think the error occurs after the first rinse cycle? When I push down reset all the lights flash and then blink sequentially just like the dishwasher is waiting for a new cycle input, but the water pump to drain the water never turns off. If I push the power button the unit turns off but the water pump keeps running. Only when I disconnect the power cord from the wall will the pump turn off. If I reconnect the power cord the pump turns back on sometimes. I read online that maybe the flood switch was hit and to tilt the unit and drain water, I took off the kick panel and didn't see any water, and tilted the unit back and forth as instructed. The first time I tried this I think it may have helped the water pump turn off after I reconnected the power cord. But when I ran a cycle again nothing changed. I also waited a few days afterwards because I was busy at work enough time for any water to dry up but this didn't help. I'm in Vietnam and the customer support is Vietnamese so I thought I would try this before I have to see about the warranty and shipping the unit far north for repair. Any help is really appreciated, I can post a video of the beeping, blinking lights, and water pump running after I unplug the unit it'd help. I so badly want this dishwasher to just work, it was a big purchase here and a lot people don't understand why I'd buy it so now that it's not working it's really embarrassing! Thanks again!
