you have to install on your computer Microsoft ActiveSync from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/downloads/eulas/eula_activesync45.mspx?ProductID=76
after that connect your ipaq to your computer with the usb cable

Pictures from phone to computer


You have to put the dvd in and then install the software once you will install it connect your phone with usb device and it will show you the device(removable device) in my computer click on it and find the pictures once you find them copy and paste in your pc.

this will help you to use your pocket pc to your laptop or pc. this activesync could be used in XP and vista os.

I lost my cd and I have new computer with window vista. Is there anyway I could download computer software so I am able to go internet through my computer? Mine is 3970. Thanks, Lisa


Yes, you can. You do not need any cd, only must configure a bluetooth network connection between the PC and Pocket PC and then can browse internet, skype and etc. If You don't know how make network connection between pc's, please ask, I can help with it.

Connection problem


Have you considered software running in the background on your computer? Usually firewall/anti-virus software can block the connection. If you are running any Norton or McAfee products, it is likely the cause. Try disabling them, or boot into safe mode with networking support and see if the PDA responds from here. Safe mode loads a minimal set of drivers and no startup programs. Goodluck!
