You could set this printer up on a desktop computer that is always on and connected to the same network and then share it from that computer as a shared printer. You can share printers over a network by right-clicking on that printer under windows and clicking properties and then on the sharing tab and then make sure that the "share this printer" is checked/filled in.

Then you find the computer on the network through My Network Places and open it up and the printername should be listed. Right click on that printer and click on connect. Then drivers for that printer will be installed on your computer and you should be able to print to it like it was attached directly to your wifi laptop.

If you are having trouble check your firewall settings

Server 2008 drivers for HP deskjet 6122

"Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are included with many Windows systems). If you chose the 970 driver it will want a second sheet of paper to print a test page, which you can ignore and it will stop trying. All drivers seem to be the same print quality in my systems. I do not use the 970 or 6122 driver at all so I don't have an ink level monitor or any possible related potential glitch.

HP 6122 nothing prints other than one or two lines of nonsense and it goes on and on one line per page

This might be a problem with the connection or corrupted file, try to cancel the print job and try again. -if your using USB connection try to unplug and replug the cable from the PC and the printer side.

I have a HP Deskjet 6122 Printer and I need a driver for Windows 7 that I can load on a flash driver to put on another computer

Windows: "Add a printer" in "My Computer"/"Printers" or "Control Panel"/"Printers". The 6122 will print from the HP 920, 930, 932, 940 & 950 drivers also - (which are resident/included with your Windows XP and Vista systems). I do not use the 970 or 6122 driver at all so I don't have an ink level monitor or any possible related potential glitch. I wet and slap stubborn old ink cartridges to un-stick dry jets. sometimes I use a small clear silicone tube to suck a bit of ink to get them started as the jet holes need priming sometimes if they are old.

If you have Windows Vista, the driver is built in. If you have XP you can download it from:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?prodNameId=83028&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=18972&prodSeriesId=88749

If you have Win9x you can try to do a web search for file 6122_enu_win9x_me.exe or try:
