SOURCE: kelvinator aircon is dripping water from air vent in house

Sounds as if unit is freezing over----typically a response to lack of proper ventilation-----check all filters and access panels to unit and clear or clean as needed-----if unit has a drip pan make sure unit has been positioned properly so as to catch excess......properly ventilating unit should resolve issue though

SOURCE: my carrier split type non-inverter aircon always blinking

I got the same problem in Samsung aircon. The unit I purchsed died slowly. After that Samsung replaced it with the one have the same problem. They are swearing that the green light blinking problem as a normal function and refusing to fix. Their user manual says it is a problem. I think the affected consumers should join hands to take legal action against this scam.

The Kelvinator technician came out and found that our gas was very low indicating that there was a leak somewhere - the gas should never deplete apparently (being a closed system). He checked inside and outside and couldn't find a leak so assumed it must have been an issue with the piping in the walls. He recommended not spending the money to get it repaired - he recommended it be replaced (not a cheap option but it was 11 years old and repairing wasn't likely to be cheap or a long term solution). So not sure if that is your problem but hope it helps!

When heater first turned on light is green then turns red

Yes this is OK. The green light is showing you that you have power. When the light goes red it means that the burner is alight.
