Question about Heating & Cooling
My in the wall air conditioner died, and I'd like to replace it, however due to budget constraints would much rather get a cheaper window air conditioner than a much more expensive "through the wall" air conditioner. I've seen an LG 10,000 and 11,500 model that are in my price range, but I'm wondering... will these work in the wall? it's impossible for me to mount in my window.
The dimensions of the current hole (sleeve I guess) is 16X27, and the size of the air conditioners are 15X23 and 16X27 (min). Will either of these work properly in the wall?
I dont see a problem with these working in the wall, however you will probably need to install a condensate line to drain away the water that will be left from condensation. These items may be purchased from any hardware store.
Hope this helps Ya please rate me
