Please check whether the sound,video and game controllers listed in the Device Manager.
Click start and select Run. In the Run box type devmgmt.msc and press enter. This will open Device Manage window.
If it is not listed, the I suspect that the issue is with the hardware malfunction. However, you can try to restore the notebook to factory settings. But before restoring the notebook to factory settings, backup your data. Because, it will format your notebook hard drive and erase all data.

I also want a better GPU then just the intregrated one so that I can truely play games hi-res, just search me the best laptop you can find, but not from dell, that includes Alienware.
