Don't know a whole lot about this machine but probably needs to be cleaned. Are there any instructions on how to clean it in you operators manual?

Coffee is very slow to dispense from machine

Need to run a cup of vinegar through it, this will help remove some of the shale building up inside. Repeat it neccesary.

I am missing the hexagonal key for the D150 Nespresso machine necessary to remove cage, where can I find one

Sept 2012--

I had the same problem. I purchased a used D150 and wanted to make sure it was clean before using it but it was missing the special hex key to take off the nozzle part. Here is my fix-

-Remove the water tank

-Turn the whole machine upside down. You want to remove the stainless steel square plate that holds the nozzle assembly in place. It is held there with 4 security screws. If you don't have a special security screwdriver go ask for one at your local hardware store. Get one with multiple tips as there are a few different ones. Don't try to use a regular screwdriver.

-With your new security screwdriver remove the stainless plate. Under each security head screw should be a lock washer- don't lose them.

-Under the plate should be 4 flat washers- don't lose then.

-With the plate removed you can now use an adjustable wrench to remove the hex washer which holds the nozzle assembly in place.

-Once removed the nozzle assembly will have a small rubber washer/gasket in the center- do not lose this!

-Clean all your parts---I just cleaned the rubber gasket with a cloth with water and put the whole nozzle in boiling water then cleaned it up a bit.
-Put everything back like it was and tighten well.

My used D150 works great and makes an awesome espresso!

Have you contacted Nespresso directly (online)? I've found that their Customer Service is excellent. They'll probably make it available to you online.

Grinds in Coffee...

Make sure you have tightened the pod carrier/basket far enough. This happened to me early on, & I just needed to tighten up the pod basket. (They say you don't have to force it, but I DO force it as far as I can.)
