Look on the rating plate and it will say how many watts. however the power taken on start up is considerably higher than when running so allow at least 50% excess

What is needed is a step UP xfmr. It raises the voltage while a step down lowers voltage. 1500 WATTS IS 1500 WATTS. Personally I personally would oft for a larger xfmr. The 1500 watt is pushing the limits and a xfmr is not 100% efficient.
I cant seem to find what you are requesting but I did find a service manual for your model (US and Canada model.) Sony does sell the part you need but I dont know if that are able to ship it to Germany.
You are right. This is not enough to operate this freezer. You are going to need a bigger invertor it get it to work properly 900 or 1000 watt should be efficient even though it is not the best way to run the unit. If the unit has a problem you would be replacing the inverter all the time. Just FYI
any converter should will work as long as it produces at least a 75 watt output, it really only takes around 50 watts at peak but better to have to much power than not enough. As for someplace cheaper I would suggest you try ecogro.com they are one of my sources for grow equipment and have the best prices. not much you can do about the shipping charge, sorry. Good luck and happy gardening.
Hey they are under no circumstance do anything otherwise. They wont ship it to you. What you can do, is have them ship it to a friend in the states. And have your friend ship it to you. I think thats the best possible solution. Because the disc are only for sale by them and they are not online for free download. As much as i wish they were ISO downloads. HP will not provide with them. Especially because every HP model are different and it will be a lot of bandwith to allow data transfers.
My suggestion is to ask a friend to mail it to you. or if you go on forums ask someone if they can make a copy for you if they have the same HP Pavilion
