Yes! same problem. It's definitely not the batteries, because when the batteries are low in the past, it gives a warning and then powers down. No warning this time, just turned off and the lens stayed open...

No power on camera Kodak C613 digital

use a rubber eraser to clean the ends of the batteries and the contacts in the camera. this will allow for more power to pass and might help. also make sure contacts are not bent down too far.

Kodak C613 will not turn on.

try to clean battery contacts with soft cloth and then replace batteries. If you have a dock, see if your screen powers up without batteries but on the dock. Fixed our similar problem.

Same problem with kodak c613

Well unfortunately you may not be able to use my problem solve...I took it back to Best Buy since I was within my number of days limit to return! I have read on other sites however that using Kodak batteries has solved some people's issue - that seems ridiculous to me since they should be the same as Energizer, Duracell, etc., but I guess it's a cheap alternative to give a shot. Sorry I am not of more help!

it is a common problem for the c613 not turning on. what you can do is use rechargeable batteries for your camera. Alkaline batteries can cause power issues. Make sure that the batteries are inserted correctly.check your manual for proper battery orirntation.if this does not resolve the issue, send cam for repair.

Are you using Lithium batteries?

Most Kodak models are only happy running on Lithium batteries.

I have two Kodak cameras, both had various power-related problems. Since using Lithium batts, not a single glitch.

They are more expensive, but they end up costing less compared to the amount of alkaline batts replaced.

Worth a try.
