Sansa Driver problem

Its kind of asked before where to get sansa c200 series driver, but there is no driver exist in that sandisk website. So, i installed the sansa c250 without the cd and i used msc option to install i, but there is no usb setting in my sansa, i dont know what to do, the main thing about this is that device keeps connecting and disconnecting on and on and it doesnt even show up, i might have to reinstall xp for it. I need your advice and please note that if i get the driver software i can easily handle it.

No need to reinstall XP. Sandisk's website suggests doing the firmware upgrade instead. If the firmware upgrade won't take, then try to force recognition:

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

My computer cannot pick my mp3 sansa player

This solution is specifically for the Sansa c200 series, but it will get you started in the right direction - check Sandisk's website for the specific method of entering MSC mode for your particular Sansa:
Connect the device to the PC in MSC Mode
View/c200: Turn on then press and hold the rewind button while plugging to the PC
If that fails, unplug the Sansa from the computer. Uninstall all the Sansa software in the add/remove programs section of Control Panel. Reinstall the clean version of the software from Sandisk’s website – make sure you get the files for the c200 series. Then replug the Sansa and try again. The root of the problem is that Sansa has one set of drivers and Windows has another. If you plug the mp3 player into the computer before installing the Sansa drivers, the Windows drivers will trump the Sansa’s.

Drivers for sansa c250

You can't plug the same mp3 player into a MAC and a PC - one erases the formatting of the other. Run the Sansa Recovery Tool for the c200 series - it is available from the Sandisk website. Also, here is a link to the full user manual:
