Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others
Bought at garage sale a Panasonic keep warm rice cooker/steamer modle SR 118EGH. Have no idea how to use it as I have never used a steamer. Need manual on how to run machine what features it has, how much water to how much rice, suppose to do vegtables also how do you do it and how much water. This is an older steamer so don't know if anyone can help me.
I know the exact model you are talking about! I have one myself....Basically it is always two parts water to one part rice using the same measuring cup to measure both! So if you decided to use it for 6 cups total it would be 4 cups of water and 2 cups rice.....As for veges, You would fill the bottom of the inside pot just enough to where it doesnt touch the other pot that goes inside with holes to hold the veges and you can add a little salt, But then you close the lid and press the cook button and when it finishes it makes a quick and easy dinner side!
