Question about Electrolux Epic 6500 Vacuum
My Electrolux upright (Epic Series 2500 SR) worked fine until I had to change the bag. It went unused for about six weeks without a bag inside. When I put in the new bag, it wouldn't turn on at all, even when I pushed the reset switch, changed plugs, etc. It seems completely dead. It's about 13 yrs old and had received a new motor om 2004. The reset switch is worn out and not making consistent connection. Anyone know how to get the unit apart to replace the switch? thanks
The bristles wont spin on my electrolux epic 2500 sr. Power works but thats it.

Are you using the proper bag? There's a kill/reset switch that needs to be pushed down by the rim of the bag before the unit will run.
