Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Kranky have you had any use or first hand experience with what yoursaying about a xbox 360.... Cause its wrong and makes no sense. RROD isthe RROD. Theres one fix which voids the warranty and nothing whichyou have posted is close. Its free to get it serviced, so get itserviced. It's bad advice and completely misleading to tell people otherwise, thats not what fixya isabout.
For your information the first option was told to my sons friend by customer support after they had him try upplugging everything and rebooting it with no luck.I had found some info on the web beforehand that we were going to try.I have ALWAYS serviced my kids game consoles myself by searching for help on the internet and knock on wood it has ALWAYS worked and saved alot of time and money. From what I understood of the question being asked it is not free for him to get it serviced and/or there is no warranty.
