Stat playing a song. Hit option and select repeat. Be sure that it's not set to repeat 1 song.

The licenses could have expired on the songs, or you have a corrupt database - format the player or get a firmware upgrade to resolve a DB error. Double-check the licenses on the songs to make sure they have not expired.

Unfortunately, you have likely overwritten the old songs by copying new songs.

One free product worth trying is Recuva (http://www.piriform.com/download)

Download and install Recuva, plug the mp3 player into your computer, and see what can be recovered. Even if you can see some of your old songs they might be corrupted so make sure to listen to them.

I hope this has been informative.

Hello :

Reset your mp3 player first . If that didn't solve the problem , then I would recommend you to format your player . But before formatting you need to back up everything on it .

good luck .

Do you have a button or lever labled "hold" on your device? If so, this button disables all the other buttons and functions on the device so that is safe to put it into you pocket while you listen to it.

Switch this button to the "off" or toggle it to its other position and see if this doesn't do the trick.

I hope this helps.

My sandisk sansa e260 mp3

Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
