I am looking for a replacement bulb for a conair magnifying mirrow (CA108). The bulb is H6V1A. I cannot find it anywhere.

Same problem - H6V1A bulb for magnifyng mirror unavailable. Emailed Sharper Image many times. Since they are going out of business they will not help.

Looked online and cannot seem to find it. No longer have the dead bulb so I don't even remember what it looked like.

Has ANYONE found a H6V1A bulb anywhere?

I found the bulb! I was also searching for a replacement bulb for a Sharper Image magnifying mirror and finally found a suitable replacement. Although the # on the actual bulb did not match, it is a
6volt halogen and worked. The replacement bulb was found at mountaingear.com whic is an
outdoor enthusiasts store in WA state. It is actually a headlamp bulb for a mtn. bike. The part
# on thier website is 445024. Mine arrived yesterday, worked fine and I was delighted to find it.

How do you get the mirror apart to change the light bulb?

Here are the instructions, basically you remove the screws on each side and then on side will lift off. I used a flat head screw driver to work around seem until it lifted off. Hope this helps.

How do I open the housing of Conair Makeup mirror model BE 103 - I removed the screws but cannot separate the mirror to replace bulb

The two sides do come apart but tend to stick. Pull the magnifying mirror apart from the mirror that is attached to the stand. You may need to budge it a little on one side and then the other to get it to come free, but it will.

I have had my Conair GMT 800 for about 8 months. The battery will not hold a charge, I can't believe the battery goes that fast.

The battery is a custom made item and is not sold anywhere. It was made for this specific trimmer for Conair. I have the same problem. Great trimmer when it worked, much better than most. I actually purchased a Wahl (Made in USA) trimmer and am very happy with it, although it does lack some features the Conair has (or had). What can I say? Conair is a good company, but I guess this one did not work out.
