I'm afraid I have never heard of a wi-fi mouse however there are bluetooth mice that work on the same frequency band (2.4Ghz). Google or Ebay would be the best site to look for one!

Want to get on wi fi

Here's how you turn wifi on and off on your playbook:
http://helpblog.blackberry.com/2012/08/turn-wi-fi-on-off/

If it is on and you can see the wifi network you want to connect to, but still cannot connect. You need to contact the owner of the wireless network and have them provide you with their wireless password or passphrase.

I hope this helps.

Go to Control Panel, then Device Manager, it will show you if you have Wi-Fi or not and if is enabled. If it is disabled, enable it here.

You can also buy a USB Wi-Fi adapter compatible with Windows 7 Operating system.

Will t180 recieve wi fi

No , not as your computer is configured.

The networking in your computer is a integratet Marvell 88E8056 Gigabit (RJ-45 LAN connector)
It means that you have to cable your network card to your router / wi fi router/accespoint.

However, you can purchase a wireless usb network adapter to get access to your wi fi router/access point without using a cable.

Is it possible to get a wireless connection to the vaio PCV-RX221

Hi,
Vaio PCV-RX221 does not have Wi-Fi capabilities. If you wish to connect it to Wi-fi, you can use a USB Wi-fi LAN Card, which can be connected to any USB port of the PC and can be used to recieve wi-fi signals/ data. Note that PCI Wi-fi LAN Cards are also available, which are internal and added to PCI Port of the PC.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

My modem from att works fine now. However, when I connected the wireless G router belkin it gives an error msg: webpage cannot be display. plese advise

Do the following trick. Enable your Wi-Fi connection AND connect your laptop with ethernet cable at the router (both of them active). After the connection has been established, hit start - run - type cmd. At the new black window type ipconfig and hit enter. You will get the results for both ethernet and wireless connections. Mark with your mouse the details report and hit enter (for copying the results). Come back to this post and paste these results. I want to take a closer view of what is missing from your connections especially the Wi-Fi one. Also post me back what is your operating system (windows XP, Vista, Windows 7).

In case of a problem or clarification, don't hesitate to post me a reply before rejecting my answer.

As soon as i went from a 'B' to a 'G' router, my internet has slowed dow , worse than dial-up

The Belkin Wireless G Router lets users share files and a broadband Internet connection among their computers-without using networking cables. It features 802.11g technology that makes accessing files and networked peripherals-such as hard drives, printers, CD-ROMs, and DVDs-easier than ever. 802.11g technology provides you with networking speeds nearly five times faster than the current Wi-Fi (802.11b) standard. An integrated, 4-port 10/100Base-T Ethernet switch also allows you to connect wired computers to the network. 802.11g technology is the easiest wireless network to implement. The Router uses the wireless 802.11g 2.4GHz standard to offer you 400 feet of wireless coverage. 802.11g technology is backward compatible with the 802.11b Wi-Fi networking standard, so it allows you to implement faster wireless technologies in combination with existing 802.11b Wi-Fi networks.

so if use "g" type router the speed cannot be slow there may be some other problem....that let the internet speed down....check that......

I have installed the linksys software but can't create a wireless connection with my laptop even though I know it is wireless enabled. During installation, there is a Wireless Connection Failure.

hi dear

try this

  1. Before you attempt to use any Wi-Fi network, find out what the SSID, Channel, Mode and WEP key are. Some Wi-Fi locations do not require a WEP key. Many Wi-Fi providers have this information on their web site or when you purchase access you will be provided the information.
  2. Ensure you have a firewall program installed and running. This will protect your data.
  3. Start up your laptop and once booted, look for the Wi-Fi network icon in the bottom right of the screen.
  4. Click on the Wifi Connection icon on bottom right of screen and you should see a window that indicates connection, strength and duration. Click on the Properties tab.

  5. wirelessnetworkscreenbl.jpg

  6. The next window will show the type of networking card installed. Click on the Wireless Networks tab.

  7. 02ee437.jpg

  8. Once the Wireless Network Connection Properties window is open you will have two options depending on how you set up your laptop.
    • If you do not see any networks listed in Preferred or Available networks, you will have to manually add the SSID. Click on Add. You will have to enter the SSID and WEP key (if required). Click OK and you should then see the network you just added in the Available networks box.

    • 4d25eb5.jpg

    • If you see the correct SSID showing in the Available Networks, then you need to click on Configure in order to enter the WEP key if that is required.

    92752af.jpg

  9. In the next window, enter the SSID for the Wi-Fi network you want to access. Make sure you do not have CAPS lock or NUM lock while entering the information. If a network key is required, click on "Data Encryption and then enter the Network key you have been provided with. Again make sure you do not have CAPS or NUM lock on. Click OK when entered. If you have entered the key incorrectly a message will pop up and you will need to re-enter the key.

  10. fccfda9.jpg

  11. Next go to Start - and where it says Connect To click on that and you should see choices like in the graphic below. Click on Wireless Network Connection and it should work.

34b0a7b.jpg

There are occasions when the connection doesn't work, in these cases check your firewall software and make sure it allows you to connect to the Wi-Fi network. To check this, disable your firewall software and check the connection again. If you can connect with the firewall program disabled, you change your settings. If your firewall program is not the problem check the SSID and WEP key information that you entered. Both of these are case sensitive. If you had obtained SSID information from the Internet, check with someone in the establishment to see if the SSID has been changed.

oke post in me back

i hope this usefull for you

thanks
