Finding compatible upgrade to cpu 870

Instructions

1

Select the ink cartridge specific to your printer. Canon inks are versatile, so your selection may be as simple as choosing between black, color or a multi-pack with black and color cartridges.
2

Turn on your Canon printer. The switch is generally located on the top right hand side of the printer. Open the printer's lid.
3

Wait a moment. The cartridge carrier will automatically disengage.
4

Put your hand behind the existing ink cartridge and pull the cartridge towards you until it pops out. Dispose of or recycle the used cartridge.
5

Carefully pull the tape off the new cartridge.
6

Position the new cartridge into the cartridge carrier. Make sure it is facing the correct position.
7

Press the cartridge carrier gently until it clicks into place. Some cartridges have indicators to demonstrate that they are properly positioned.
8

Close the printer's lid. Print a test page to ensure everything is working properly.

Tip

How to extend the life of your cannon printers and recycle ink as well

The main problem of canon printers nowadays is that it has lifespan when the waste counters of the printers become full you can no t print anymore.

To fix this problem all you need is intravenous fluid hose, phillips screw driver, drill, empty container and a lot of guts

first things first is open your canon printer using the screw driver after opening you'll find a hose where the printer cartridge sits this hose has a black stripe on it and goes directly to a catching pad which is commonly know as waste pads. pull out the hose from the waste pad and connect the intravenous fluid hose after you've done it secure it with a glue stick, glue gun or anything. Now drill a hole on the back side of the printer cover the hole must be of the same size of the intravenous fluid hose. assuminbg that you have already done this.insert the hose to the hole you've made and cover back your printer. now find a container for your waste ink. then you are done

to recycle the ink that you've collected on your catching basin just filter the ink out with a cloth and refill the waste ink as black. i've been doing these for a long time already and saved alot of ink for my black cartridge. hope this helps

How I can refill my HP 27 Cartridge at home...

Hi,

please follow the instructions........

  • 1

Purchase an ink refill kit that is specific for the HP 27 color ink cartridge. Look over the packaging to insure that it states that the kit is for the particular make and model. Using other types of cartridges may not work properly.

  • 2

Place several paper towels down to prevent any ink residue from damaging other objects. Place the ink cartridge onto the paper towels. Put on a pair of rubber gloves to prevent ink from staining hands.

  • 3

Peel off the top label gently from the cartridge.

  • 4

Observe the three holes that are located on top of the cartridge. There is a solo hole located near a rectangular tab that protrudes and two other holes located next two rectangular indentations into the plastic on the top of the cartridge.

  • 5

Take a toothpick and gently stick it down inside each hole to verify the color. Take a sharpie marker and mark next to each hole with the correct coloring for ease. Use "M" for the magenta color, "Y" for yellow and "B" for blue.

  • 6

Take a piece of masking tape and place over two of the holes to prevent ink spillage from mixing into other color positions.

  • 7

Read over the ink cartridge refill kit for the appropriate amount of ink needed to fill the syringe with the correct color for the uncovered hole.

  • 8

Expel any excessive ink from the syringe. Insure that you have the correct amount of ink by following the markers on the side of the syringe.

  • 9

Place a paper towel over the end of the syringe and while holding the tip upwards, gently press or tap the syringe plunger to expel any air.

  • 10

Insert the syringe needle into the appropriate color hole until the tip hits the bottom of the cartridge. Pull the syringe up a little from the bottom of the cartridge to prevent blockage when expelling ink.

  • 11

Expel the ink into the color hole slowly. Stop if ink begins to protrude out of the color hole. Take a cotton swab and gently wipe the outside of the color hole and then cover with tape.

  • 12

Take the syringe apart and rinse thoroughly to prevent ink colors from blending. Take a cotton swab and dry out the inside of the syringe.

  • 13

Repeat above steps for the remaining two color positions that are left.

  • 14

Gently take a needle and put a hole in each tape that covers the color holes for ventilation. Allow the cartridge to sit for at least one hour after completing refill instructions.

  • 15

    Reattach the original top label.

  • Please post your feedback and Vote if the problem resolved as per your satisfaction.

    Showing E symbole

Some cartridges can only be filled a few times before they break down. As the ink sprays out of the cartridge it wears the cartridge and causes it to display an error messege. Depending on your printer and cartridge some have a reset button just above the compuet chop board on the back of the cartridge. Press the button with a small needle, or paper clip if there is one and try again. If not the cartridge may be worn out.

My hP deskjet F4288 shows ERROR symbol

I would remove the refill. HP voids the warranty if the cartridge leaks. I have seen refills leak and destroy the printer. Replace with a brand new cartridge. If that is not the solution you want. You can remove the cartridge and clean it with rubbing alchohol and a paper towel or a q-tip, just make sure there is no fuzz left when your done. Also if you have the HP software installed on your computer, there is usually a cleaning program built into the software.

The solution center shows a question mark on both ink cartrages, and says no comutaion with the printer.

Take the cartridges off and check the connections. Make sure that there is no dust or debris on the contacts. Also take some Alcohol on a swab and clean both areas with it. I would recommend a clean swab for each contact so you do not cross contaminate the leads. When you put the cartridges back in make sure that they seat all the way. I know that there are some cases where the cartrages look like they are seated properly but not.

The Problem is that the Cartridge needs to be Reset or has been reset Incorrectly. Visit your Local Staples For a After Market Reset Card. Place the Cartridge Onto the Card and There ya have it. (All Reset Cards are Brand Spacific, so please be sure to purchase the correct one.)
