The istallation can't be performed, the camera driver istallation is not accepted by Windows XP.

Maitenance was performed and the reistallation procedure completed. When requesting the pictures from the camera, this is shown: sp500, Access violation at address 0380 A1 CC, write of address 00127COF.

The Chameleon XP Driver is not accepted. I need a solution to install the camera drivers in Windows XP. How can I do it.

  • rauljemajo Jun 23, 2008

The Largan camera Chameleon XP shows a number "AO 7650" also FC D624 Made in China. On the packeging box is written System Requirements Windows98/Me/2000. I conclude that what is needed is a driver or something to make it compatible to Windows XP.

Can you provide, please, the specific model and serial number of your camera, and perhaps the revision level of your firmware(might be under settings, in the menu).

I suspect you are running into a revision level issue.

I need to find a driver for my Argus DC 1500 camera. I have lost the discs that came with it and the places I have found on the internet for driver downloads have not worked

What is your Windows ? If you have Win2003, WinXP, Win2000, NT, WinME you can download from here :
http://drivers.brothersoft.com/argus-dc1500-digital-camera-driver-35825.html

But if you have Windows 7 with 64 bit system operation, you won't be able to install driver for XP or Vista (32 bit) in your computer.
The solution is you must find another driver that support your OS, or you can try to install the driver after change the compatibility as describes below :
- Click the application file, then right click
- Open Properties > Compatibility > Check box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
- Choose Windows XP (Service Pack 2)
- Check box "Run this program as an administrator"
- OK
- Back to Explorer and run the istaller.

If this answer useful, RATE please !

Bad connection with PC? driver? canon s80 and windows xp

It's very hard to troubleshoot software problems online, and it likely is a software issue. But why put up with the headaches of bad software in the first place? Please see the following blog article, as it describes the use of a card reader as a much easier, faster, and less error prone way to download your photos. In fact there are several important reasons discussed in the article for using a card reader vice downloading from the camera. USB Card readers are also very inexpensive these day, with cost virtually not an issue:

Can't use VPC-CG9 as PC camera.

I don't know why this wouldn't work on Vista HP, but this excerpt from the manual suggests that your XP SP1 Pro would not work without the SP2 rollup:

"Please perform the following upgrades before connecting the camera to a computer.
-Upgrade Windows XP to SP2.
Install Windows XP SP2.
-Install Windows Messenger 5.0 or later version.
Download Windows Messenger 5.0 or later version, and install it.
-If using MSN Messenger, please install MSN Messenger 7.0 or later
version."

Perhaps if you are following the steps exactly in the manual and it still does not work, upgrading Messenger will magically help.

Need drivers for digital camera polaroid i832 driver to work with win xp

do you have any firewall or antivirus software installed?

if so you might want to try this

Remove the software you have placed on there.
will be in the add/remove programs in the control panel

Then you need to click on start--->run---->msconfig---->in the general tab there click on diagnostic setup. ------->accept and then restart

Now install your software now that your firewall and antivirus software is not running.

Reboot your computer

Now click on start------>run------>msconfig----->now click on normal startup in the general tab----->accept and reboot your computer.

Wait till windows loads completely

now plug in your usb cord for your camera and then plug it into the camera and test to see if it work correctly now for you

if you have the manual for the camera refer to the install procedure on that as well.

if you dont have the manual here it is for you.
