Question about Olympus Evolt E510 Digital Camera
Try setting your camera to macro mode (setting with the FLOWER) for close up photography, or portrait mode (setting with the PERSON).
If you have the manual then try looking up, Single Focus, Continuous Focus, and Single Focus Manual. You'll want it on the last setting. This will enable the manual focus ring. This is great if you want like a closeup picture (selective focus), or if you are doing macro work and want to make sure you are in focus. It also helps if you turn on your LIVEVIEW |( )| mode. You can pinpoint your focus in the viewfinder by rotating the focus ring while your are magnified. You may need to press the AEL* to get a an LCD preview.
*Using the default settings.
